Poetry Written In Gasoline
AEGIR STUDIO is Frankie Doguet's label focused on commercials, films & music videos. Working closely with brands and agencies to shake things up and produce films that stick to the retina.
AEGIR STUDIO runs on a tight core, working with trusted artists and technicians assembled per project.
Beyond client work, Aegir develops original projects: Frankie's debut feature film, a survival horror titled The Edge, plus Skrean, a VOD platform dedicated to genre cinema, and Rev|Cut, a review platform for freelance filmmakers, editors and colorists.
Frankie creates sober yet powerful visual narratives. Cut from the old school, letting light, sound and movement tell the stories, through storytelling, cinematic aesthetic and technical artistry, for himself and for clients. IG
He is currently developing his first feature film THE EDGE, and has created SKREAN
and REV|CUT.
End of the world. Shot on a budget. Built without compromise.
The Edge is a survival horror in development. Elias, a reclusive survivor with an unexplained illness, tracks his stolen medicine to an abandoned camp and finds Maya, a captive teenager marked by the same virus. Hunted by fanatics who see infection as sin, they run.
Written and directed by Frankie Doguet.
The film is financed through Skrean, Aegir's sister platform. Every Patron and one-time supporter keeps the servers running and contributes directly to The Edge getting made. All supporters get their name in the credits and no bumper before the films. One-time supporters (€100+) get the same perks forever, no subscription needed.
Support links open on Skrean, where you'll create an account so we can track perks and add your name to the credits.
Skrean is a digital grindhouse. Public domain horror, noir, pulp sci-fi, exploitation. Hand-picked, hosted clean, no algorithm.
Built as a home for The Edge, a place where the film could live and be funded outside the usual machinery. What began as a distribution tool became a project in its own right, running parallel to the film. The two now fund each other: every Patron keeps the servers running and contributes directly to The Edge getting made.
The Crypt is free. Always will be. Cinema should leave scars, not metrics.
Doors are open to like-minded filmmakers.
Rev|cut began as an internal solution, built when existing review platforms failed to meet strict GDPR requirements. What started as a private feedback tool grew into a streamlined video review platform.
Rev|cut enables frame-accurate comments, pinned visual feedback, selectable review ranges and secure file transfers within the app. No client accounts, no unnecessary complexity.
After a year of real-world use with clients, Rev|cut has been open to everyone since January 2026.
ununiform is the software department of Aegir. Websites, web apps, plugins, front-end and interface design.
No client is too small or too far from film. A booking page, a shop, a plugin, a whole platform. If it is code, it is work we take.
The approach carries over from the films. One person builds it and you talk to that person. The scope is agreed before the first line of code.
The reference work is Aegir's own infrastructure. Rev|Cut is a video review platform in daily use with clients. Skrean is a streaming platform coded from scratch, catalogue, payments and player included. Every Aegir site runs on the same hands.
Tell us what it has to do and we will come back with what it takes.
Beyond client work, Aegir develops original feature films, starting with The Edge. This manifesto is the model: what we make, and how everyone who makes it is treated.
Two things hold it together. The films are genre. The system is fair, written down before the first day.
We make genre films. Survival, thriller, fantasy, the fantastic, and horror most of all. Genre is pressure. It pushes a story until what it was really about shows through.
The people who make a film should be recognised for it and share in what it becomes. The people who fund it are paid back fairly first. All of it is written down before anyone starts.
Aegir is not a content factory. Genre films, made on fair terms, with the people who make them holding a real piece of what they become. The standard we hold ourselves to. Starting now.
The Edge will put the system to the test. We fund our films through a mix of private investment, co-production and public support, alongside the people who want to see this kind of cinema get made.
If you invest, back or make films, and this is the way you want to work, talk to us.
